Sweet Frostings Blissful Bakeshop

The Company is owned and operated by a Mother and Daughter Team, Sally and Jessica Winfrey. In the beginning in 2011 Sally was approached by her good friend Judy Rozier Beebe who had the idea of opening a cupcake shop. And so it began! Judy eventually went off to start another company and Sally brought aboard her daughter Jessica. Sally was raised in the small Washington town of Gig Harbor and later attended Tacoma Community College for Business Management. After decorating cakes at Safeway for 11 years, she was promoted to bakery merchandiser and relocated to the Inland Northwest. Five years later she became a Bakery Merchandiser for URM Stores. In 2000, she took a sales position with ADM Milling Co. as a Bakery Sales Tech which gave her the opportunity to attend the American Institute of Baking. Sally and her husband David have three children. Jessica, Sally’s youngest child of three, has worked at Sweet Frostings since the very first booth at a small thrift fair the summer of 2011. She attended Spokane Falls Community College for business and spent time working in the restaurant industry. She has worked her way up from sales & office assistant to become a valued Manager and CEO of the Company. Jessica serves on the board for the business improvement district (BID) for the Spokane Downtown Partnership since 2021 and graduated the SBA Emerging Leaders Program. Jessica is married and lives in Spokane Valley.
