All-Purpose BBQ Rub & BBQ Sauce
BBQ Rub
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup kosher salt
- 1/3 cup paprika
- 1/3 cup ground chili pepper
- 1/3 cup black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- 1 tablespoon granulated onion
- Optional: add up to 3 tablespoons total dry herbs. Try one or try them all. Use your taste buds to find out what you like!
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and rub, rub, rub!
BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 bottle of ketchup (34 oz.)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 T crushed garlic
- 3⁄4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 1⁄2 cup of water
Directions
- Mix all ingredients in saucepan and simmer for 45 minutes to an hour, stirring occasionally.
